TSI’s Project Management Discussion Blog

Denver, October 18, 2008 late at night in the same hotel room I’ve been in (just to sleep) for about a week. I have to say that PMI has done it again. Another great Leadership Meeting here in the mile high city, Denver.  Year after year, country after country, the Project Management Institute has put on another successful Leadership Institute meeting.  The Leadership meeting that is held throughout the world about four times a year is the place where all the leaders of the project management community come together to learn from each other and from experts from around the world. 

There simply is no other place where the profession of project management can gather in one place to discuss, learn, advance and create the future of the project management profession.  Sure there is always the award ceremony, the exhibit hall, the many, many meals but the bottom line is that this is a learning and sharing event.  By participating even if you just listened, you would still learn a lot. If you ever have a chance to attend one these do not pass up this great opportunity.  Anyone that attends and participates in this event will come away a better, stronger leader. I know I did.  Thanks PMI for the opportunity to stretch myself, my team and my mind.
